Milky blue plate

I went to collect the remaining pieces from my pottery class this afternoon, and one thing that I can say is that you can never predict how they are going to turn out. I don't know where the milkiness came from with this glaze as it came out very differently in some other pieces, including this sushi dish. I think I prefer the sushi dish, but it won't stop me blipping the plate.
