A Little Light Relief....

The last few weeks have been stressful, particularly for Sarah, as we are building up to a joint funeral/birthday tomorrow....!

Sarah's Granny passed away last week and tomorrow is her funeral....it's also our Ruby's birthday....

....sad/happy....happy/sad....

After the ceremony tomorrow we are going to have a sort of joint wake/birthday party....we have cakes and everything :)

Another life-layer to all of this has been Sarah's little brother Anthony who has been in hospital for weeks....and is being allowed out of his sick-bed for a couple of hours to attend the funeral....this is following stomach surgery on Monday earlier in the week....!!

Crazy stuff....

Sarah's family means everything to her....our Niece Bryony has being staying with us for the last couple of weeks, since Granny died....

....and so in amidst the frantic last minute rushing about this afternoon....finishing off funeral and birthday stuff....we took half an hour out for a laugh & a light bite in a local well known supermarket....

The menu on the wall was stacked with all sorts of Jacket Potato & fillings, they all looked so good we each decided to have one....but....they had run out of potatoes....!!!!

lol....run out of potatoes....in a Supermarket....oh the irony :):)

In the end Bry & Sarah had sausage 'n' mash (with onion gravy) and I had Goats cheese & spring onion tartlet and salad....

To add insult, we thought they had forgotten us at one point though, 'cos it took a good half an hour for the food to materialise....however it wasn't bad when it eventually appeared ;)
