Flower Friday — crab apple

It’s been a rainy sort of day but not much in it as they say. I popped put to visit our daughter. We do see each other fairly frequently but haven’t had a good old chat without others for so long we can’t remember. It was lovely. 

While I was there I had a call from our neighbour. I visited her when I got back. She needs some ‘nursing’ care for a few days next week so I’m booked up to help out. She also said our other  joint neighbour is selling up and moving. His wife died a year ago and he is going closer to his family. That’s sad as he was a nice chap. 

I finished knitting a cardigan for Arthur, my nephew. He starred in isbi’s blip yesterday. It was made with left over yarn and I changed the pattern so it’s a one off. Hope it fits him.  I then had left over yarn so made a cap. Now I’m almost out of that colour.
