Trip To Liverpool

Dear O'H dear, Lovely Tea Jenny and The Eldest Mini Princess,

The Youngest Mini Princess and I headed to Liverpool for the university open day.

After a slight train hassle*, we got there and had a lovely evening. When we arrived, we walked to the Royal Albert dock and had dinner there in Rosa’s Thai restaurant. It has a really nice vibe there - cool bars and restaurants and LOTS of fairy lights which always makes everything look pretty.

We wandered to our hotel about 9:15 pm. “Do you have plans lined up for tonight?” asked the hotel receptionist.

And we did - putting on pjs, getting into our beds, drinking tea with a ginger biscuit and watching tv. Rock and roll!

*I had booked our train journey ages ago but the Wigan to Liverpool part of our route was cancelled this morning (and for the return journey) so we went via Newcastle instead. Although it took longer than going to London, thankfully both YMP and I love a train journey. It’s nothing compared to the travelling I’ll be doing next month, although hopefully I’ll get further than 200 miles in 5 hours!
