After my morning got spoiled by the news from Italy (why do people vote for fascist politicians? I'll never understand...), I needed to go into the city for another doctor's appointment. The weather was nice and I was early, so I used the time for a walk along our local boulevard Wilhelmstrasse and in the adjoining park - see extra.

I noticed the many lifebuoys in the plane trees (it's hard not to). They are an art installation, meaning to remind us of climate change and the danger of storms and floods.
