Thru a photographer's eye

What's in a word?

Fortunately, nothing to do with explosives or aircraft. Mountain towns in Alicante province tend to put their signage in Valencian, a local dialect (some would use the word "language"!) instead of Castillian Spanish. So, for those of you who aren't familiar, the word on the grid actually refers to 'Bomberos' (in standard Spanish) which means 'Firemen' i.e. for use of the Fire Service only.

One could go on for a while about some other absurdities like this which arise from time to time!
