Gairloch Beach

Arrived in Gairloch today.  The golf course was closed {Monday), so went for a walk on a footpath that took us from the course, along the beach to the harbor.  We also took a wild drive to the Rua Reide Lighthouse, standing by the entrance to Loch Ewe, and at one of the most dramatic and remote locations of the northwest.  The 15 mile mostly single track road followed the cliffs and gorges and kept Gina on the floor for most of the ride.  See extra, a SOOC shot. Edited version would not download.

I found a copy of blipper Robin Down’s “Golf in the Wild” book at a Gairloch gift shop, and am looking forward to it.
