An Agricultural Day

I did get out for a walk today - and was glad of  my hat and gloves in the cold northerly wind!!

The air was buzzing with the sound of tractors and I watched for ages as the little combine harvested the maize - shredding it, presumably for cattle feed, before offloading it into trailers. I also caught a tractor leaving with a full load (extra 1) - with a cheery wave from the driver.

Shortly afterwards the decorators arrived to paint the fields brown (extras 2 and 3). Be thankful you cannot smell through blip! At least there was a strong wind blowing away from the village.

Puzzling has been slow today - managed about 6 pieces - at that rate it will take me a couple of years to finish!!
