Water ...

After about 5 kms walk today on a goat track above the village I came upon a trough providing water for goats, mules, horses or whatever other creature might need a drink, like  the wasps around the water pipe.  Local herders have built up a stone wall and piped the water into the trough so that it looks a natural part of the landscape. (See the extra).

This water is every more precious for animals as September so far has brought no rain to the area and it's been a particularly hot, harsh summer.
