Not every day

On Land's Edge/Ar Ymyl y Tir

So our annual festival has been and gone, for a second year. What a wealth of art and literature and music - original drama and opera, writers performing their work and talking about it (even cooking meals inspired by it) - work by amateurs and by professionals, exploring time, place, landscape, culture, the historical and the present, using the most traditional media and the most modern. The main photo shows a virtual reality experience being shared in the ballroom of an 18th-century mansion. The extra shows the opening performance in the theatre, decorated by a local artist with gannets and curlews (plus Moby Dick, back from the previous year).
