Brewers Quay

I vaguely remember this landmark in Weymouth being open when I visited the town years ago. Before we moved here.

Sadly long closed and in slow decline ever since it last closed its doors.

Funnily enough we bumped into a chap last year who in conversation told us that he was the last person to shut the boilers down when it was an actually brewery. Lots of history under the skin in this town.

Anyway long closed up but now it appears to have some works going on and now has fencing surrounding the whole site. I had seen on a locals Facebook page it would take millions to turn around. Fingers crossed someone with big pockets has come along and can breath life back into this lovely old building.

Me. I had just ventured into town to pick up my prescription from Boots. Still not ready so another walk in tomorrow.
