The beholder's eye

It's a grizzly little thing!

I went to Mill Hill near Shoreham today to photograph this tiny butterfly.
It's a Grizzled skipper (Pyrgus malvae), a small little butterfly (wingspan 27mm) from the family of British butterflies known as the Skippers.
Skippers are fast flying, active little butterflies that have a habit of flitting off and literally disappearing into thin air! They all have the little horns on the head, which I think makes them really rather endearing,
They are found across southern England, mostly in small colonies especially on chalk grassland,
I feel I was lucky to be able to photograph one today (I only saw 3 in total), I hope you will enjoy seeing this one too
