Solid Ground

Hard to think of a way to make a picture of the floor look exciting. To us, though, this is the culmination of 4 years shed building and the result of 10 hours hard work for 3 of us. The practical consequence, we hope, is a mouse-proof shed that we can put garden/orchard produce in, and a sound, level floor for shelves, benches etc

Two parts sharp sand, one part NHL 5.0 lime and a couple of handfuls of hemp shiv in each mix, with a little water as practical to make it workable. Levelled and worked down with timber, plastic and finally metal. Now it's curing - absorbing CO2 as it does so

Could be thought of as leveling up, or having a more solid floor than the £
