Handpainted Home

Our first overnight campsite in Cornwall was one of those adventures you put down to experience. It was on the wilder North Coast of Cornwall, a favorite of wind surfers! Howling wind that ripped the awning and buffeted the Black Knight keeping me awake most of the night…long walk to the showers and toilets…intermittent Wi-Fi, (which David needed to help with issues at BG when someone spilt a cup of water on the Computerized Register)…unpleasant and unhelpful site staff. We walked to local pub for Wi-Fi service.
The next morning we decided to upsticks and move on. We had booked for 4 nights and no refund given. Oh well!
Before leaving we decided to make the most of what was available - a bracing, blustery walk on the beach with dramatic views of the rolling waves and lighthouse. See David’s blip for that view.
I liked this view on the way to the beach of a cute little handpainted caravan and it’s proud owner.
