On the beach

This is a lesser black backed Gull. I believe from the markings on its head it is beginning to move into its winter plumage.

Today Arnside Parish Council is running its annual Wellbeing Event.
In between walking along the beach I have been helping Mrs. K. on her stall. She has been giving away the advice booklets she has written on several subjects such as Solar Panels, Heat Pumps, Wood Burning stoves, Ways to save energy and Avoiding plastic waste.
