Shopping for Breakfast

Look closely in the lower right corner and you can see why the heron is so intent .I love the way he moves, carefully, silently, lifting one graceful foot at a time; it's almost too slow to see. He took a stab (literally) at the gopher and missed, but went right back to waiting mode. I didn't stay to see if he was successful later on.
