Let It Rain

I have to admit that I'm loving this.

I'm not going to complain if it rains from now until New Year.  The ground is so dry, it will need a Manchester style soaking to recover.

On a walk through a vineyard yesterday, it was obvious that we have had so little rain - the grapes were tiny.  About the same size as the brains of quite a lot of politicians and as capable of cogent thought.

Crosswords, keeping warm and enjoying the middle day of a long weekend.  It's all good.
