A nice day weatherwise today and a pleasant day personal wise.

Went over to Morecambe to visit Mum as per usual.  After we'd had lunch and chats we drove alonge Morecambe prom but decided not to stop as there really wasn't anything to photogrpah that I haven't done before. 

We had a bit of a kerfuffle getting through Carnforth.  The traffic lights at the crossroads on the A6 were out due to roadworks and there were temporary ones there, but 4 way of course.  It took qutie a while to "they"'d completely closed the road off and it was all blocked.  All of us going that way had to try and turn round.  Then a further long wait through the temporary traffic lights and then drove on up over Kellet Road, joined the B6601 to get beyond Carnforth and back on the A6 again.  Why on earth the road closure wasn't signposted much earlier to save all that kerfuffle I can't imagine.  

Most important of all we got home eventually.  Tookthis photo of a rowan bush  up the road from us as I thought they were great autumnal colours.
