Fortnight Lily

aka African Iris Dietes iridioides. Native to Southern Africa. This beauty gets it's name of 'Fortnight' because it's blooms seem to come at two-week intervals. Each flower only lasts one day but is quickly replaced by another. They grow very happily and spread eagerly here in North Central Florida so are a common sight.
