Stressed for success

Many plants flower when placed under some sort of environmental stress - it's their reaction to a threat. Such is the philosophy of the humble pelargonium.

Sink or swim, put up or shut up, face the music. Sometimes I wish I was better at doing just that with as much grace as plants do. Either that, or do it looking as cool as Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid taking on the Bolivian cavalry.
