Nature Diary... This morning...

This pretty self-seeded Antirrhinum has produced some beautiful flowers. Recently it's been busy producing seed pods and I've been busy collecting them as I plan to scatter them around the garden next spring.

Early this morning the sun managed to remind us of its presence by briefly squeezing defiantly through the dark clouds.  That was the last sighting of it today though as wind and rain swept in and clouds blocked the sun out.
