Verity

Left site and headed for Woolacombe stopping at Lynmouth and then Ilfracombe for a walk round. Both places very lovely but Ilfracombe surprised us with the enormous statue known as Verity by Damien Hirst. I didn’t like it but it was impressive.
On to site in time for coffee as hubby had a telephone appointment with his consultant, of course it didn’t happen. It has already been moved from a month ago so he wasn’t surprised.
The site is large with wonderful views over the hills and to the sea. The weather has been wet and windy all day but it is very windy here and when we arrived the lady on reception said I have upgraded your pitch to fully serviced at no extra cost as the wind is very strong and the high hedge will, offer some protection, so nice of here.
It is still blowing out there and the camper is rocking.
Mushrooms in red wine and a glass of red for dinner, lovely.
