Today's foraging expedition yielded this dish of hazelnuts :-) Fungus of the day is added as an extra - it's Calocera viscose or the Yellow Stagshorn (sometimes known as Jelly Antler). 

It's been a wet day with a few bright intervals and the odd rainbow. Apart from the walk, I've done mostly inside stuff - housework, talking to Joe and phoning my Dad, who today has reached the age of 90 - the only man in our family ever to do so. Maybe it had something to do with him being so physically active - he played squash until 68, ran the London marathon at 70 and still plays table tennis. I'm looking forward to celebrating with him in person at the weekend!
