Here we go again!

Fontaine Wallace (Place de Barcelone)

There are lots of these "Wallace fountains" across Paris, a very recognizable and practical sort of "street furniture". This one, a colonnade model, is in a square quite close to our apartment. I walked part of the way home from the BnF today and the square was a hopping place when I got there around 6.30pm (apéro time!)

Nice day - J found delicious fresh figs at the market and oysters for a euro a piece which were fantastic! I went for a run along ile des Cygnes this morning and then went in to the library where I am continuing to work in salle Y, the rare book area. A lovely, quiet spot.
