Amazing Banksia

The last time I saw a Banksia flower like this it was back in 2015 at the Mt Barker Banksia Farm.  It is absolutely exquisite and seems to love growing along the south coastal region around Esperance.  It’s worth looking at the larger version so that you can zoom in on the incredible pattern and structure of the cone.
We’re heading back east now and have two long, long days ahead of us before we reach Streaky Bay.
