A fine day's walking

We had a good breakfast, and then the coach took us a little way along to Grantown on Spey, where we started our walk through the forest, and down to the River Spey.  We were to walk a pathway along the river, but the river was high and fast flowing and some of the path was under water, so we opted to walk the road at this point.  Nevertheless we had a lovely walk, and finished with some refreshments at the Golf Club.

In the evening, after a good meal, the hotel laid on some entertainment, a chap with a keyboard and some instruments.  As soon as he started playing the dancers were on the floor and it was a lively evening.
