Back blip

Last day of our break, and we headed home via the Black Isle, where we walked to Chanonry Point, hoping to see some bottlenosed dolphins.  We were unlucky though, it was a very dreich day and the sea and sky merged in grey colours.  Near the end of the walk the rain came on and we got rather wet!

I have posted a photograph of the harbour at Avoch which we passed through, as this seemed to be the best of some rather dull photos.  I have posted an extra collage of the rest of our day though.  The ruin is of Fortrose Cathedral, and the other shots are taken at Chanonry Point.

We had a meal on the way home at the King Robert Hotel at Bannockburn, just a short distance from home, and very much appreciated as we don't have to cook when we get home.
