Murder of a Hyacinth

I came across this hyacinth in someone's garden during my blip-hunt round the block. I don't know who or what beheaded it but it shed new light on hyacinth structure for me - and I decided to share it with you whether you're interested or not!

The weather has gone cold and windy again and the flowers have gone into cold storage again. The wind isn't being kind to them either - it can be difficult to find flowers or blossom that haven't been damaged by the wind.

Feeling quite sorry for myself at the moment - I've gone down with a cold, which doesn't happen very often, so it's a quiet weekend with no photo-shoot with my photography group or Sunday walk and I'm just hoping that I will be a bit fitter for Monday.
