Baby coot

I went to Blackford Pond today to check on the local bird population. This isn't a great photo but was the best one I got of this baby coot, the only baby bird I saw. The swan couple were having a lazy Sunday afternoon, with Mama swan on the nest, and Papa swan beside her. I'll go back soon to check on developments.
