Crumpets?

Well, we learnt a lot about what NOT to do.  And made a big mess.  But no edible crumpets to show for it.

W is keen to learn how to make them, as they are virtually impossible to buy in Ireland.  But today was not a success.  Oh well, try again another day.

Other than this kitchen session, we've had a pretty uneventful day - I have a sore arm, and didn't feel 100% this morning, but other than that we seem to have no serious side effects from the booster yesterday.

We had an inexplicable shortage of hot water this morning, but our landlord visited to see if he could work out what was wrong, and everything seems to be functioning as it should, so it's a question of watch and see.
