Guess where we went today ......

...... Galway Racecourse, of course.

A few days ago I got thinking about Covid boosters, and discovered that there was a walk in vaccination clinic today.  So we tootled along there this morning.

I had been slightly disconcerted to find that I can no longer book in to the British NHS website - our GP has clearly already told them we've defected, but fortunately we both still had our Covid vaccination records on our phones from a previous trip to Ireland, so we were able to print these up.  All very civilised.  No queues, and no problem getting moved to the Irish system.

Afterwards, a visit to the local pharmacy, and we have booked in for our flu jabs next week!

This evening I have an aching upper arm - hope that will be the worst of the side effects.
