Live music

Whilst out shopping yesterday, we saw a poster for a concert.  Part of the Music for Galway series, it was at Leisureland in Salthill.  We bought tickets over the internet that evening.  We were there quite early, but so was everyone else.  Almost no sign of Covidthink.  A few people were wearing masks, but my feeling is that when sitting in a crowded space like that, for a couple of hours, masks are a bit pointless.  Just have to hope the ventilation is up to scratch.

Anyway, the music was great.   Some Tchaikovsky, Beethoven's 6th, and a world premiere by a local composer that was at least not too discordant.

Feel as though we are settling in.
