Blue Dasher

Out and about before the rain set in we visited Forest Fern NR in Broward one of the closer reserves to the house. Cool under the canopy there were 30 species of fern growing but very little else around apart from a very noisy blue jay squawking in the tree tops.

Just over the side of the boardwalk there was this blue dasher bent on looking into the water for small insects but not much else around. Maybe it's the time of year.

We then headed to the coast but the sky had clouded over, the wind had got up and with the car parking charges at $25 minimum we haded home.

Baby B had had his first official swimming lesson and came through with flying colours as expected. He is now sparked out so peace reigns!
