PINKTOBER - DAY 9

Layer upon layer
     of pinkness - 
          enfolded
               cocooned
                    encircled
                         surrounded
Each petal reliant
     on the other
          for its very life
               and beauty
When someone
     is suffering
          or going through 
               difficult times
they need to be
     enfolded
          cocooned
               encircled and
                    surrounded
with our love
     so that their life
          and beauty
               shines through
                    in the dark times
All that we see
     in the petals
          of this beautiful
               pink Compassion rose
reminds us that
     during the storms of life
          we need to
               enfold
                    cocoon
                         encircle
                              and surround
those we love
     and those in need -
          sharing our God-given strength
               so that they
might become strong again.
