Cross Keys Marina

A good night sleep at Kevin’s flat.
Coffee and showered and then departed again in the BK for a surprise extra jaunt, with Kevin for the first time as a passenger!

Kevin had a customer call to make in a little village called Sutton Bridge and David had some work to do in the van so I went for a lovely riverside walk on my own to Crosskeys Marina.

David booked an overnight stop for us at a working farm/ camping site near Norfolk called Burnham, Deep Dale.
It was a lovely sunny day, so we had a pre-dinner cheese and wine outside the BK, then walked to a nearby village called Brancaster Staithe so that Kevin and David can watch the football game at a pub called The Jolly Sailor.
With a name like that it was to be expected that they have a very large selection of Rums! I don’t know much about Rum so I asked the Rum specialist which one was his favorite and he immediately said “Fallen Angel”. It is a dark rum flavored with a secret recipe of spices and vanilla. It was delicious - more like a dessert than a drink!

For dinner I am going to have a wood fired stone oven Goats cheese pizza and the guys are having a roast dinner to cheer themselves up after a loss!
