Heading Out

A bit better planning today, this was the ship that I mentioned on Sunday 31st March. The very one we lost the race to catch that day.

Although we didn't catch her at dusk we did catch her in some very rough water leaving the berth at Troon on her way to Larne.

The ship is the P&O Express and although she can carry 195 cars and 868 passengers she can put her 92mtr 5,600 Tonne hull through the water at 40 knots. Almost twice the speed of her sister ships that do the crossing from Cairnryan.

Anyway I managed to completely avoid the whole "May the 4th be with you" thing today. Oops !
