Early one morning as the sun was rising .....

..... I donned my warm jacket, woolly hat and gloves and made my way down to the beach. It was pretty chilly but worth it.
The bird is instantly recognisable as a grey heron with the large wing span.

It has been a beautiful day with the sun shining from just after seven this morning until about five o'clock. We headed to Broughty Ferry this morning stopping on route in Tayport for coffee.
