Musings of a Suffolk boy

Walkies...

Today I joined my girlfriend while she worked. She's a carer and today she was looking after a hound lad with cerebral palsy.

We took him to see her little cousin play football, which was brilliant - a really enjoyable match.

After that we went to West Stow, a little village in the west of Suffolk which is home to a reconstructed Anglo-Saxon settlement. We went to the lake that it is situated next to and walked him around. It was difficult as his wheelchair wasn't really built for that sort of terrain.
The area is incredibly scenic, a really lovely place to go for a walk. This is where I got today's picture. Lots of little goslings with their mums & dads - it's that time of year...
