Nurturing: Tiny Tuesday

This year,  a tiny acorn has embedded itself into my herb garden (basket). A thin stem arose next to the thyme and five little leaves have formed. I transplanted it today into a pot on its own, hoping that it will continue to grow next year again after this year's leaves have fallen.  I will nurture it and probably talk to it and make sure it has enough to drink! I shall be looking out for signs of life in the spring!
