The Early Blipper Gets the Bird!

An early one today before heading to the airport - and a lucky find!

I needed to zoom in to capture this shy little bird, rarely spotted - it is a Striated Pardalote (Pardalotus striatus) - this one led me a dance before finally settling just long enough for one quick pic. They feed on insects high in Eucalyptus trees.
