River of Flowers

Tuesday: Broadleaf Thyme

Lots of gardening jobs today:
Ordered the Broadleaf Thyme last Friday, it arrived in the post this afternoon - it’s now in a terracotta pot in free draining compost.
Half a dozen Cavollo Nero (Italian black kale) plants planted in the deep bed behind the greenhouse.
Noticed that the dwarf broad beans (in a square planter) have been munched but have flower buds appearing too - weather mild at the moment, maybe we’ll be lucky and get some very late beans!
Picked a handful of Runner Beans and noticed there are more flowers too - I let them scramble through the branches of the fruit trees, which they seem to like.
There were some spots of rain when I was putting the washing on the line, but it disappeared and we had a lovely afternoon and the washing dried :-)
MrD lifted the dwarf cherry tree off the tray whilst I removed the tray, no longer required. Collected  leaves and put them between the blueberry bushes.
Stay safe & healthy & happy everyone :-)
Nos da pawb / goodnight all xx
