Caught in a Trap

I rather liked the look of this leaf trapped in a cobweb outside the kitchen window but it hasn't turned out quite as I would like. I took the photo before heading off to Loughborough Hospital for my Covid booster.

After stopping off at Dobbies at Rothley on the way to Leicester, where we enjoyed a very nice latte on the wide patio, in the sunshine, we drove on to Leicester General Hospital for my pre-op assessment. I came away with a blue plastic carrier laden with reading matter.

The most disappointing thing is that the consultant doesn't believe that I shall gain much benefit from the procedure and that it will take a long time to recover. Oh joy!
