Porthmadog Harbour

Another full day started at Llyn Cwellyn and the beginning of the Snowdon Ranger Path, though I only got as far as the West Highland Railway, Snowdon Station from where I could see the top of Snowdon.

It was then down to Porthmadog where I had a picnic lunch and a bit of a wander before joining the Welsh Highland Heritage steam train (extra) for the13.5 mile trip to Blaenau Ffestiniog. The views were spectacular, though I suspect most of the photos I took on the train were not!  

After a quick stop the return trip got us back to Porthmadog as dusk was falling and I couldn't resist the shot of the harbour as my shot of the day.
