New book

I'm really looking forward to this book. I love Esme on the Sewing Bee and my daughter has recommended the book. I rarely treat myself to a 'new' book, but thought why not?
I took a trip to Consett today as I'd not been before. It was an easy straightforward drive, going one way and returning another as I had to stop off on the way back. Consett was a bit of a disappointment but I was able to get a couple of things to take to my MIL when I visit tomorrow. 
Barry is off to Jedburgh to get his Landrover MOT'd and the forecast is miserable so I think I'll have a day in the sewing room. There will be no dinner to cook as he will visit his favourite eatery in Jedburgh for fried haggis and chips!
