Grey and gloomy …

… but warm and humid, and more of the same is forecast for tomorrow.

I still felt slightly off-colour this morning, but not as bad as yesterday.  We had breakfast, the Mr MacD went off to collect some leaflets and start delivering them while I got on with a few household chores.  We were due to meet a friend for lunch, but called to say she was experiencing a reaction to the second shingles injection she had yesterday, so we re-arranged for Wednesday of next week.

After lunch both Mr MacD and I drove to Parnell and spent a couple of hours delivering leaflets.  After returning home we went over and spent an hour with Mum.  Now Mr MacD is feeling unwell with a sore throat and a head cold.  We’re hoping he can get rid of it overnight as we’re due to see Sol3Mio (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sole_Mio ) perform at Spark Arena tomorrow night.

Today’s blip is of flowers from the garden and a rather large insect spotted on the side of a house in Parnell.
