A ripple of applause.

We all drove down to the coast today at Gruissan but had a stop off on the lower vineyards at La Clape; a mountainous pile of craggy limestone which lends itself to being the perfect terroir for Languedoc grape. Wendy was on the lookout for a rare perennial that a Belgian friend had noted they’d encountered there on a previous trip, but we could find none of it. So we moved on. Stopping for a view over Narbonne bay we stretched our legs and Janet almost literally stepped on masses of the plant. Is this it? She said. Anyway, here’s a dose of La Clape. I mean, a view of La Clape.
