Flowering Cherry Tree

The very large flowering cherry tree in my garden has burst into blossom. It happens quite miraculously…. almost overnight. And it is a joy to behold. It’s certainly a lovely time of the year.
It has been a dull and grey day with a bitterly cold south-easterly wind. Definitely a day for indoors.
A good friend, another “Liz”, visited this morning. We had a hilarious time catching up with past events. We must meet again soon. Laughter is so good for the soul.,
