River Scene…..

Towards the end of a very busy day, Maisie and I drove to the Burleigh Bridge western carpark and set out walking upstream. I hadn’t walked that section of the Taylor River bank tracks for two months. We side-tracked to avoid some flood-damaged areas then turned back to the carpark. This scene is looking down-stream with the distant Richmond Range in view. Due to recent flooding part of the track has broken off and fallen into the river. Luckily there is a slight detour.
