St Michael’s Mount…

…at low tide when you can walk out to it on the causeway. The village opposite on the “mainland” is Marazion, which was delightful, full of interesting galleries and shops. October is the perfect time to visit, the sunshine is warm, there are enough people strolling around for it to feel buzzy, but you can find a car parking space and a seat for lunch in a pub. I had the most delicious scallops landed this morning in a quaint inn in Newlyn.
