Some Days

GPO Phone Box, Broxburn.

Our local phone box is still in use, officially.

Take a closer look.

Can't guess when it would last have been used, though.

Our little village of around 15 houses, just outside Dunbar, East Lothian, has its own post box too.

The phone box is a modern type used since the mid-fifties, bearing the Crown of Scotland, introduced since the present Queen broke with tradition by allowing the depiction of the Coronation Crown on phone boxes.

The phone inside it is a very modern device.

I can't find the 2p slot anywhere!
